I think the kid was a copycat and not responsible for all cases

I fail to understand how a 10 yr old kid could think that - just the same as I fail to understand the 9yr old girl who won't stand for the national anthem - parental influence me thinks!!!! There are weirdos out there!!

We had some last night with thickened cream and icing sugar.Quite tasty.
Not as good as when I was a kid but.
Now they seem to be breeding them bigger, more pithy inside. I guess they are easier to pick and fill a punnet.
The smaller ones had a more intense taste but cant seem to get them any more.

Brought strawberry's the other day at aldi but gone today I think when they catch the person responsible they should push needles under there finger nails then they will never forget the pain they have caused others.

Most people instinctively buy on the basis "bigger is better". Add to this the simple fact that it costs just as much to pick a small strawberry as a large one, but thy sell by weight, and there is little wonder that there has been pressure to select strawberries and growing techniques that result in larger fruit.
