Was sitting with son watching the Pies slaughter the Tiges, and saw a few of the ads for it.
The ads alone are more than enough deterrent, for me to avoid it.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

There were enough OHS issues for me to cringe and comment on them to my wife.

My brother lost a hand in a cardboard cutting machine which led to a downward spiral to suicide.

You have to consider the numbing effect of doing the same thing hour after hour when it is easy to lose concentration and go to pull out the cardboard sheet when operating the machine with a foot.

So I reckon you have to design OH&S to the lowest common denominator , and consider that workers may have to do the repetitive thing for hour after hour.

That would suit both the bride and I........we have to watch all for adventure because of the eye candy.

    Not good man.

When i was a lackie doing my time we had to run one of these at tradeschool.

Hand fed vicobold lol. Machine moves the 2 mating surfaces together, operator does the rest. These things had no idiot switch or emergency stop. Get caught up and your gunna get hurt.

Another equally as dangerous machine apprentices had to operate.

More automated but still dangerous as hell!! That last pic is the machine i was talking about that OHS shut down because of no guards.

Got my hand caught in the below machine. Not that actual machine but one the same. Nearly lost a few fingers.

Well that was a trip down memory lane.

I watched an episode because i wanted to see them recover the truck from that bog. The excavator did it well.

I like the physics, engineering, landscape and offroad side of it, and hey what guy doesnt mind some eye candy, but overall its just too dumbed down and trashy for me to watch again.

At least they arent eliminating people, its not as bad as say survivor et all, but that doesnt mean people might not get eliminated another way, regarding safety issues.

I've seen one episode - where they skull dragged the yacht along the beach (tearing it in half). That was enough for me. It's even worse than a lot of the yank garbage on TV these days.

    Operation Repo anyone ??????
    Cheers .........

Got sick of hearing the boss keep going on about safety, he keeps telling the girls to watch out for the steel winch cable snapping and make sure they are behind a flimsy mesh screen when operating the winch. But the girls always seem to wander from behind it,
But what does this tosser do? He stands next to the winching cable during operation and even seen him jumping on it, It snapped a couple of times. Grabs cable without gloves
Can't work out if this show is a comedy sketch or is supposed to be real life. To put themselves out there without personal protection gear makes me think QLD OH&S is slack.
How on earth did the early settlers build this Nation without OH&S? And how can some one think that show is a shop window into what actually happens in the real World ?.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
