Funny funny. Reminds me of my youth when i ate a whole hash block at work...... WOW was that an interesting afternoon.
Worked in a joinery factory in my early days. A couple of the guys ducked away at lunchtime and had a few tokes. Dunno if they thought it was so hilarious when one of them put his hand through a thicknesser shortly after. I guess it would be funny watching him try to roll a spliff with one hand after he got through hospital and rehab! NOT!

Time and place for everything. Working with machinery needs concentration, not (im)practical joking.

People nick down the pub all the time for a couple. I dont see the difference here. I have smoked herb my whole working life and never got eaten by any machines.
Hell i have worked for bosses that smoke more weed than me. One i can think of had bongs placed around both factory and office to make it easier to have a cone lol.

I have worked with people that whack up smack at lunch and still seem able to function normally....... Use that word very loosely.

Actually much of the industry i was in back 25 years ago was saturated with speed. Mostly because of the hrs we worked and activity.

Hell around the same time all the truck drivers were popping no doze or speed themselves.

Yep what a whacky world we lived in back then. Surprised any of us lived.

Christ, I won't even have a beer when I'm on call, let alone at work....
I want a clear head doing what I do, it's not worth the potential grief or death, whichever occurs first.
