What is it with people and our wildlife

So what is it with some people in this country some brain dead moron runs down a group of emus then more morons beat a kangaroo to death then I see another in NSW ran down a koala in a tunnel now 3 teen age misfits in the Latrobe Valley think it's ok to chase emus on motor bikes and a quad bike. Apparently one was found dead and two seriously injured the police and rspca are investigating as the video appeared Facebook it should be a fast investigation throw the book at theses criminals time in jail won't hurt there thought process .

    No jail time.
    Euthanise and move on.
Proven that those who torture animals typically go on to do the same to humans.

Brazil and its Favelas have a pretty simple and effective rule of 'law'....
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

14 days' jail for killing 406 wedge-tailed eagles 'inadequate', animal groups say | Australia news | The Guardian

It will take many years to replace these birds as they often only have one chick every year or two that survives and breeds.

Some girls around here scared some emus out of there enclosures onto the main road. A few got killed.
Literally only a few days ago AFTER the recent emu thing. Perhaps 2 kms from my house.

Copycat? I dont know. Just young girls i believe under 18.

If it happened once you can look at the person and say your stupid. But as this behaviour keeps happening i worry the attitude towards our native animals has diminished in our youth.
Now there fair game for some fun. Or so it seems.

Any different to tipping cows when i was a kid?

Probably not just escalated like everything in this world seem to be.

When i was a kid we tipped cows. vs running emus over in cars for fun.
When i was a kid i took peeks at my old mans playboys. vs kids watching online hardcore stuff now days.
When i was a kid i took a drag of a ciggy behind the activity center. vs smoking ice now days.
When i was a kid we had fights one out and made up afterwards. vs gangs kicking the crap out of 1 person.

Even swearing was something we did when not around adults and more specifically woman. Now days kids swear at and too anyone.

    Rant over.

Andrew, thats cos these days many have no respect for anything, and the lack of discipline doesn't help, either.

We did quite a few things i wouldn't tell anyone,i was one of 4 boys.
But we were certainly caned may times,by our parents, and at school.
My mother particularly was pretty good with a stick. My father was just as good.

I actually think if it wasn't for the discipline, more than one of us four wouldn't be where we are now.

    We got what we deserved.

Ah,those playboys, and penthouse mags,i remember we used to say,we have to put them back exactly where they were.
Then we moved on to air rifles,.22,and then that 12guage that would nearly knock us over, and put a big bruise on our shoulders...

Ok,so now time for the 🍿🍿

I had my air rifle taken off me 2 days after I got for sitting on our roof & shooting the next doors chooks.
I thought it was pretty unfair because I didn't kill them or anything, just made them carry on & run around a lot. Got a bit of a flogging as well.

I must have been a mongrel kid!

We knew not to push it too far, as there would be consequences to our actions.
