    Cape York or Tasmania

    Hi there,my job was going to finish soon and I was to get laid off but due to a big ($50 million) stuff up job should last till september/october,will it be to late for the cape and if it is I am considering going to tasmania instead there is supposed to be some good tracks down there.
    disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
    detriot locker,lsd front,C.D.L kit,chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift,rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

    Some good tracks?!!!.
    The whole state is a good track! .
    But if you go down to the south , bring heavy duty bug cleaner to wipe all the Greenies off your bumper :wink: .

    October is the best time to go for easy access IMHO , getting a bit dry and corrugated on the PDR, but the OTL is still good value 8) .

    The wife and I have spent the last three xmas periods camping on the OTL, we still get the van up there no worries, 8O but it is starting to get quite wet by then. :roll:

    I really wish I could just drag images to the forum. I've tried the imageshack,, it doesnt work for me 8O [/img]
