Hi there,my job was going to finish soon and I was to get laid off but due to a big ($50 million) stuff up job should last till september/october,will it be to late for the cape and if it is I am considering going to tasmania instead there is supposed to be some good tracks down there.

October is the best time to go for easy access IMHO, getting a bit dry and corrugated on the PDR, but the OTL is still good value 8) .
The wife and I have spent the last three xmas periods camping on the OTL, we still get the van up there no worries, 8O but it is starting to get quite wet by then. :roll:
