Well, someone at BOM got that ahsabout. I am looking out my window at a clear, cloudless sky and a gentle breeze. Not a sight of rain. Rain would be most welcome though.
We're collecting our brollies we don't need anymore and sending them up to you Brisbanites.
We're calling it "Brolly Aid".

Put the BOM radar for Brisbane on 512ks and look at the clouds heading our way. Prediction is 100% for rain later this arvo, as has happened most days recently.
Brolly? Really? Do you walk down the sidewalk eating a cookie while holding your brolly?
I walk down the footpath eating a biscuit while holding my UMBRELLA!![]()

You would be better off eating your umbrella and using the cookie as rain coverage...
I've seen the size of your cookies,,,![]()

May was last time we had any decent rain at my place in Brisbane . They keep saying we are having all this rain but not at my place would not have had enough to fill an egg cup in last two weeks. Grass is dead only got dirt to mow, wiper blades have stuck to wind screen & tanks are empty. The only thing we are getting out of the storms is thunder .
G'day Folks
Yup! it has been a welcome drop, Monday evening's storm 37mm, Tuesday night a lot a of crashing and banging 3mm,and this afternoon's effort was 14mm,so we will see what's tonight brings us
cheers
Your brolly would've needed re-enforcement at Tansey, today.

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Last night a thunderstorm formed up to the S. & SW. About 6.30 we got a Barcoo shower (Banjo Patterson) six raindrops and some dust. No need for a brolly. An agile person could have dodged between the raindrops.Today before noon we got some decent rain but f-all since. Any precipitation would be welcome.
Well all those heading to Flemington today will need their ‘Brollies’ that’s for sure. Lovely drop of rain most of the way across the state today - hope the farmers are getting what they need.
The richy rich set at the Cup will get drowned today - how sad... 😁
