    Australian Military Vehicle University Lecturers/Researchers

    Hello All,

I am trying to track down a Principal/Primary Supervisor for a Masters in Military History at an Australian university who have research interests in Australian Military Vehicles.

Apparently, if I cannot find such a supervisor I will not eligible to enrol in a research-based Masters. Yes, they have to be current, on the payroll, staff members.

Please PM me if you know of anyone to approach.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

    Hello Weeds,

    PM Sent.

The staff member would probably need to have been awarded the same or higher level of the academic qualification - Masters or PhD... in the same discipline - Military History.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

I can't give you a definite reply, but you might try along the following lines: Have a look at UNSW ADFA as they have a special military collection. Look on their web site, Special Collections | UNSW Canberra

They may be able to let you know who could supervise you regarding your special interest. Also have a look at the History department at UNSW which is part of the faculty of arts. UNSW Arts & Social Sciences - your licence to explore
You should be able to get a supervisor from this faculty with some interest in your topic.

When I did my masters (in cave mineralogy) I had two suitably-qualified supervisors. One was from the Science faculty who had a general interest in my topic and the other was from the Education faculty who had a particular interest in my topic. Both were employees of the same uni. You might like to approach the problem the same way.

    Cheers, and good luck.
