    Fraser's ugly side

last friday a group of young people in KTM shirts, driving a new black F250 with two KTM's on the back caught the barge to Fraser, two other 4wds, about a dozen all up,,
heard on the grapevine one of our staff got medivac'd out after falling off the back of a wheelstanding bike,
    another staff member was raped.

and yes, I do know both of them.

its not only the dingoes that bite you on Fraser.

just goes to show that no matter where you are ,whatever paradise your in,there is ALWAYS some stupid morons who are gunna stuff it up for everyone else its idiots like that ,that make it easier for the do-gooders to shut places like fraser down to being accessed only via organised tours and or restricted access all areas

hope those concerned are back on their feet soon and the culprits caught and dealt with swiftly (no pun intended)

This is very dissapointing to read... Fortunately you'd hope the cops will be able to find them... EPA knows what regos were on the Island, and QT should be able to list off the black f100's that were in that list. That's presuming they got there with a permit.

It's just horrible... the thought of it...

That is a very sad incident, I hope that the full weight of the law catches up with them and the Justice system does its job in the manner in which it was intended

apparently there is a sand trap where 2 guys lay in waiting, that when you drive over a lip in the sand, a fast moving quad or 4wd, some times will cut you off, this makes you have to break as they take off,
story has it, the sand is so soft you cant get out alone, unless you have sand ladders. the second you stop ur dug in, anyway, with-in a few mins, the 2nd truck shows up, with the offer of giving you a tow, in exchange for your beer, cash 10 mins with your wife, what ever you have that they want at the time,
once you drive off, they reset the trap

How come all these great destinations... always

sooner or later seem to attract these great dickheads

Just goes to prove... If you attract enough people you are guarenteed to attract the appropriate percentage of arsewipes.... :x

I hope the law catches up with them big time... and that your Co workers are ok...Pedro.

I remember seeing the KTM's up at Indian Head, pity one doesnt have foresight as the D3 could have done some damage in advance ,

we seen/herd afew dirt bikes tearing up and down the beach below indian head (while we were swiming with the great big shark 8O ).

I think the story might not be 100% and not standing up for the guys but why was a staff member on the back of the truck and did the other really get raped

I know rape is a serious issue but it ****s me just as much hearing about the false cries of rape. AND IT DOES HAPPEN.

Story seems very low detail for me to take much notice of it.

BUT yeah the dudes were bein w*nkers and doin donuts on the beach on their dirtbikes (they may have been a total different bunch thou, who knows???)

    Cheers

    This is undoubtedly
    a) a load of BS
    an urban myth
    c) all of the above

    I'm going for C.

Have seen and heard (and done!) lot of stupid things on Fraser - but this is straight outta urban myths. If it was going on - it wouldn't be for long.
