It does if you started the job by saying, "Here, hold my beer and watch this."

Pedestrians automatically have right of way on footpaths, unless they are marked for bicycles.

As for us pulling down the carport, we had been up on the roof removing the iron and timber and she was getting quite wobbly with holes to fall through, so it was time to bring out the winch, for the first time in a couple of years, so now I know it still works.
Yep, Brett the mower man from Brighton. Legend. Called his ride on Putt Putt, went to the Brighton hotel for lunch, every day. Had a couple of beers, [ or more], and went back to work. TV current affairs show heard about it, decided to do a human interest story on him. In the pub. Local coppers knew about him, turned a blind eye, until it became tv news. The rest is history. I knew Brett, a colourful character, also a champion dirt track motorbike rider. Didn't help when pulled over [ on the footpath], he had an open bottle of Bundy in his pocket. Long gone now, I miss him One of life's characters.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
