I had a spidey sense a few months back and moved all mine to cash back in July - got lucky as it peaked in August. Was moving upwards too quickly and with the USA suggest interest rate rises, the writing was on the wall back then.

We moved into a more conservative fund a while back.
    Don't panic - take a long view.

If you're healthy at 60 the average Aussie male can expect to live well into the 80s.

My mother in law died recently leaving a balance on a credit card. The bank was told she had died, but still tried to collect another payment from her. The solicitor for the estate told my FIL to ignore the bank, and wrote the bank a rude letter. Seems they haven't learnt much from the banking royal commission.

Whoops I did it again- 8 billion today

Australian shares lose another $8 billion, dollar falls to 32-month low - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

Whoops I did it again- 8 billion today. Due to some very bright Doctors in Perth creating a blood test for breast cancer I am not bothered at all. Some of our retirement plans might get pushed back a few years if this keeps up or brought forward if the Doctors keep it up
