Driving down the office Yesterday (also known as the F3)
I have seen a few Rangie sports at full speed over the past few months, yet this one get's the chocolates.
A brand new shiny red Rangie Sport Towing a VL dunny door (Race car) on a car trailer, both Trailer and Rangie had Qld plates. Just a little lesuirely drive for the new Toy.
That was until it came across Mooney Bridge Hill.
The Rangie blew the doors off my Kia Pregio on the run across Mooney bridge and was half way up while the kia was still finding the balls needed to get up. But to my suprise my Little 2.7lt deisel Kia pregio over took the Rangie as it started to bellowed out the blackest smoke I'd seen since I forgot to book the van in for a service 8O
Little wave as we went past and never to be seen again.
My guess is that there will be a slightly used red Rangie Sport for sale as soon as the tow truck drops her back home.

The Rangie Sport owners haven't staked much of a claim here yet...
Maybe they think that they don't drive Land Rovers (just stirring the possum)![]()
That hill is a challenge I enjoy: torque versus power![]()
The other one is the Hume Highway climb south from the Wingecarribee River behind Mittagong.

I wonder if the salesman told him what the red bit meant on the tacho?![]()
Taking a brand new engine that far from home towing a trailer with a car on it and working it that hard has to be a recipe for disaster. Matt

Talking to CJ the other day he was saying the best way to "run in" a diesel engine on agricultural/industrial machinery is to drag some weight...in other words make it work?Originally posted by Ace

We don't know whether the RRS was a diesel or a petrol
I have seen in my rear vision mirror a VW Combi disappear in clouds of it's own blue smoke trying to beat me up a hill at Menai
