Warm weather must bring them out
Hi All,
I haven't seen a Rangie classic on the road in months. Then Tuesday with a bit of warm weather. I grab my car from long term parking at the airport in melbourne and spot a tidy 2door rangie on a club permit in the same row as my car.... Then I head out towards Ballarat .... And a 4door Rangie with camel safari stickers on a club permit pulls up beside me at the lights ( and gives me a big wave ... even though I'm not in a land rover).
I think all old land rover owners must be afflicted with the "car nut" disease and want to wave at anything that is different on the roads. I must have chatted to someone in an "old car" at every traffic light I stopped at (maybe its because we are all sweltering with our windows down ... so can see/chat.
This club permit caper is the best thing the victorian government has ever done for motorist!
