I have an NGK catalogue from 1977 and in the back it lists conversions from other brands. That Lodge part number isn't listed, nothing beginning with 'L' even.
A Google search wasn't successful either closest was this Lodge Vintage Spark Plugs (LFE100), 12 items (one dozen) | eBay

The P would be projected tip. what thread are they ?

The thread is the normal 14mm thread, in fact all the dimensions are those of a common plug. They came with some S1 L/R parts i bought about 25 years ago. I have never had them installed and have never been able to find any information about them.

In the 1960’s, Smith Industries purchased Lodge Plugs Ltd. Smith Industries already owned KLG Plugs and until 1982 sold plugs under both names. After this, production moved to Italy and the product was sold as the Golden Lodge.

Lodge and KLG plugs of the era were made by Smiths. So I looked up the cross reference chart in my old Bosch catalogue and found under KLG that FE45P corresponds to W8DC or NGK BP5EY or something like that. The prefix L seems to belong to the Lodge branding.

So my best guess is they should suit any normal duty leaded petrol engine of the era with 3/4" reach 14mm flat seat plugs.

After some cross-checking in my 1984 Repco catalogue I've come to the conclusion that these plugs are a hotter version of the ones normally used on a 2.25 8:1Cr L/R engine.

My Bosch catalogue suggests W8DC for the 8.0:1 2.25 engine, but then again different plug manufacturers have different heat range recommendations. Also some people recommended a slightly hotter plug on unleaded. I reckon they'll be fine either way.
