Which order do the cars proceed at intersection.

Now I’m know to operate under weeds’s road rules but even I could get it right.

My local bunnings has an unusual setup at a T intersection and nearly everybody gets the giveaway sign wrong.....either that or I’m getting it wrong.

Yellow blue red simple. If you don't know hand in your licence.
Red is the only give way
And yellow has no lines so it has right of way
The red car is turning onto the "main" road
    Cheers

At first glance that's what I thought but given the lines it's essentially a corner with traffic entering from a side road.

Yellow (stays in the lane) blue (crosses the lane) red (red gives way to right).

I ca see how this would 'spin out' a lot of drivers. That pesky dotted line is bent.

Nup!! they do this in Vic too ... and as shown just by the confusion in this thread, it's very common to be so confused.
I have one near me up next to a supermarket, and the confusion on the road is a major problem.

Stupid idiot lazy town planners, or whoever it is decides that such madness is a good idea for an intersection!

I can understand the need to control traffic to the advantage of the yellow vehicle, but a roundabout ... even a virtual one(ie. painted instead of built up) would get rid of the confusion, and not impede the flow of traffic in any significant way.

After a few hours of people arguing over who was right, the RACQ finally revealed the correct order: Yellow, blue, red, orange.

“The give way sign at this intersection makes the path the yellow vehicle is on the continuing road, which curves to the right,” they explained.

“The red and orange vehicles are facing a give way sign and must give way to all other traffic.

“Therefore the yellow vehicle goes first, the blue vehicle goes second as it is effectively turning right off the continuing road and the red and orange vehicles follow.”
