Angles freak me out a bit, when you dont get out 4wding enough you loose your confidence.

Zooks angle would have probably had me looking for reverse gear

There's one part of "Baysiders Twist" (Mad track!! ) at Rover park, about 2/3rds of the way through, where you're traversing a slope sideways - between trees 8O 8O And I had sh*tful standard Michelins for shoes

I don't get too nervous, but I had neck strain from straightening the head, and wouldn't have attempted it with the roofrack on or loaded up 8O

It did amaze me how well the Disco held itself though - far better than I thought

Closest I've come in recent memory was in our Jeep. In this photo we'd just about toppled in to the bog, but settled back to where you see it. I had my hand in the mud up to my wrist through the window.

Sorry about the non Landy photo

nah, he wasent needed, the sills were what was stoping me from going over. but forward momentum was hindered buy diff digging into bank.
i did get further up on the second try, window sill was level with the middle rut. i had to exit via the window. 8O
