Antartica looks so amazing. I would love to go there. I just wish there were polar bears there as well, that would make it irresistable.

Seriously thinking of applying though... 👍. Not sure if I’d pass the medical, or physical exams or the psych test, but be interesting to go through the process. I’m much better in cold weather than I am in the heat, but this would be a whole different level cold. 😊
    Give it a crack, Gav.
A mate of mine did a couple of stints there in the early 90's and loved it.

I think the refrigeration is to warn things and stop them from freezing.
Have a go. Life is too short to die wondering.

Maybe keep some happy feet nearby to toss their way?

Hmmm, it starting to appeal, current temperature here is 39.6 with high humidity.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Antartica is humid today too, but the maximum recorded temperature was 6.7 degrees celcius. So you can put some clothes on and cool off at the same time. Glorious.

So what 4wd are you taking?

I'll be down there in 27 days actually.

Just having a look around for 3 weeks.

I'll report when I get back in February.

I had an opportunity to go down there for 6 months, 20 years ago. Couldn't work it with two babies at home but I would have loved to do it.
