Is that a quarterly publication, Dave?
In the October edition of Heritage Commercials ,there is an article about the good Landy of olden days. And just to keep V8 Ian interested, and pining for a quad box, there is also a reasonable history story about the ‘iconic’ B series

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
I should have mentioned Ian, it is an U.K. magazine , published monthly.
This one is October ,and has a burgundy coloured Scammell Mountaineer on the cover.
Keep safe on those byways this (holiday ) season.

As of 15:30 today, I'm off the by-ways until 7/1/19.![]()

So you have gutters to clean ? , lawns to mow? ,window frames to reputty?
Eyelids to examine and feet to elevate.
Actually, I'm hoping to spend some time on the coach.

"Coach" or "Couch"?![]()
Interesting that you should mention Scammell, I was at a sale the other day where there were 4 trailers and an old Bedford prime mover equipped with a Scammell hitch. I had to google it as I had never seen one before. The trailers went for $5.00 each.

The Scammell Hitch .....yes Tote it is an amazing little bit of equipment.
With the purpose built Scammell Scarab , a 3wheeler, those trailers where used in wharehouse, wool stores, bond stores , where the trailer could be detached from the cabin ,sit on the wheeled legs ,and the Scarab would buzz around and collect another trailer ,all without the operator getting out , even the electrics would self engage. An extremely well thought out purpose built piece of kit, mind you V8 Ian would never be comfortable in the Scarab
