Hello, I was wondering if you could please consider my message, especially over this Christmas period.
My husband is an interstate truck driver. He is not a cowboy. He is not on drugs. He just wants to do his job and come home to his wife and 3 children. A lot of parking bays do not have toilets and when he finds one that has, this is often what he finds. Caravans everywhere and no where to park.
He needs his rest and legally can only drive a certain amount of hours. Even if he goes 5 minutes over his time he can be fined $1000's.
Please have consideration for our truck drivers and park your caravans elsewhere. Please do not use truck rest stops for your overnight camp.
I want my husband and my kids want their Dad home for Christmas.

Hi,
One of our locals offers free motorhome parking in a very nice mowed field by a stream, and will accept a $10 donation for the night.
The local caravan park tried to close it down, but council decided as no fees were set, there was no commercial conflict.
