    Off for Christmas shortly!

    Heading off to Yass for Christmas in about an hour. Returning (with some kids) probably Boxing Day, maybe 27th.

    Merry Christmas to all on AULRO, and if you are travelling , drive carefully, and if swimming - please don't add to the already too many drownings this summer.

    In this part of the world, the weather should be OK, getting hotter though (quite cool right now for this time of year, 19C).

    Looking at the RFS website it seems the fire got away a bit overnight (it did get a bit windy!), but fortunately, on the side away from here. Still listed as "being controlled".

    Got to Yass in one piece. No real issues, traffic rather heavy, but mostly well behaved. Only one I could complain about is the Citroen who passed me on the Dunedoo Wellington road - fortunately my paint has worn fairly thin; otherwise I would have got scratched!
