It is sad when someone dies regardles of the circumstances and we don't know how or why this poor bugger met his end.
I don't know why But this time of year the roads abound with lunatic drivers that have No regard for their own and others safety and the coppers can only do so much to quell these idiots.

I nearly T-boned a Hilux in the Defender yesterday. He pulled straight out onto the 100kph highway within 300 yards from me. That’s one way to make a Defender burn rubber!!

I need to get a dashcam as it’s the second time in the past fortnight I’ve had it happen.

I drove the Tasman Highway from Scottsdale to Launceston in November and was glad not to be towing a caravan. Steep drop offs! Vic 4wd Fatality

Could very easily have been, but read the important sections.

1AM, rolled off an (unspecified) dirt track near the Eildon Jamieson rd, two teenage survivors.

While there's a high probability that it was just an unfortunate accident, and that the driver was being very cautious at 1am with two teenage passengers ...

.. the unfortunate reality is that, as stated by others, there are far too many idiots that don't really deserve the opportunity to be allowed certain privileges.

So with the very few details provided in the new clip, the more likely scenario would be:
"hero driver showing off to his teenage mates .. ended in tragedy
.. Jeez, never thought that would ever happen .. again!

Was camped near Dargo for the past couple days, and to say we saw ... wayyy to many of these idiot jacked up, big wheeled jappie drivers with no concept of 'respect' ... is a massive understatement
    Arthur.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

The fact that this occurred at 1am in the morning suggests to me that fatigue might have more to do with it rather than plain hooning.

Not having any more details, I would have thought quite the opposite for the same reason.
