While we're being Pedantic "Uisce" is the Irish Gaelic for Water.
"Uisce Beatha" is Irish Gaelic for Water of life. ( pronounced Ishka baha )
While there is no argument from the Scots as they have their own Gaelic language ( and plenty other things to argue about) which is similar ( Usige Beatha ) but pronounced "Ishiky-ba", at least that's been my experience but at the time I may well have had too much, resulting in a few more Prime Scottish words eg:
Ooot ma Tree, Ooot the game, Mad wae it, Steamboated, pusshd, heevin etc..[tonguewink]
