That's OK for a Harley, but what about a 90 degree V twin. and then there's the tappet rattle of a Moto Guzzi, or the whirring sound, of the bevel drives of a Ducati? Then again; if they can make a steam train sound chip for model railways they can do it for anything.
On my 850 Le Mans, I replaced the timing chain with square cut Ergal gears. These made a lovely and quite loud siren noise. coupled with stone catcher induction noise and Stain Tune two into one, everyone within a 2K radius knew exactly where I was.
    Cheers, Billy.

The sound coming out of the 4 inch stainless exhaust of my 79 series V8 sounds pretty "Sweet"

Since opening this thread I've been getting ads for "Single Australian Biker Women" and that "They are waiting for me."
I should have kept the Duke so they knew I was coming!

You might need a sound chip for heavy breathing.
    Cheers, Billy.

The music track might be more intimidating.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Whether I drive or ride, the attitude is the same. Even with my low tolerance for fw drivers and riders on the road, we all know who will eventually get the rough end of the pineapple, and who will walk away unscathed...
As a cyclist commuter I'd suggest that cyclists also have a pretty clear idea of that.

And, for what it's worth, at various times we've had issues with motorcyclists who've decided that bike lanes are a useful way of getting to work quicker. I had one idiot undertake me at 80km/h plus - God knows what would have happened if he'd actually touched me, and there was only mms in it.

Did you know that some of the hot hatches, like the Golf GTi, do in fact have noise generators? But in the cabin only.

No I didn't but it makes perfect sense to me. Deaden all the real noise , then add in a more homely Xbox version.
Thats German engineering at its finest.

Well, apparently they originally had a tube that ran into the cabin through the firewall and then in the next model they just fitted a speaker with a synthesised sound track. No need to have a hole in the firewall.

Tesla goes one better, they have a fart mode:
