    ISI Carrier

    Thinking about getting one of these for the back of a Discovery. Anyone got one in Sydney I can look at first???
    Or at least pic's of yours installed, folded down (clearance for lower tailgate), operation of the catch etc...

    Whilst I went a different way......Gripsport

    If I did go down this path I’d go the extra mile and make the isi or Gripsport swing away by adapting a shingleback swing away bracket. This wood clear the whole back area for access and no need to manually handle the frame up and down.

    pics weeds? this is on my list. gripsport or shingleback, i am yet to decide which of those two, must be easily apaptable to our patrol and campertrailer as well

    I just fitted a shingleback rack. It's great as I can fit all the family's five bikes on. I mounted a tow bar receiver on the back of my Tvan camper trailer so I can put it on there too. Very impressed with the rack quality, ease of use, etc but be warned its pretty heavy and can be awkward to handle.

    I have a Mulgo Poptop fitted to the defer and we wanted to be able to open/close the rear door from the inside when touring and just any old time without having to drop the bikes I.e ISI way to access the back by either straddling the bikes or having to remove the bikes than the rack.

    I fitted a rijidij spare wheel carrier, Murray provided a bracket that fits over the studs for the spare wheel. In than bolt the Gripsport draw bar rack to this bracket.

    This setup has worked well for a week in the high county and a week on Fraser Island so I’m confident it’s all tough enough with with stand Overlanding.

    I’m going to make a new bracket so that it drops the bikes lower so that we can close the door when the 270 degree awning is setup.

    The Gripsport rack it by far the easiest rack that I’ve owned to use.
