The cordless demo saws are very good - we’ve just bought a heap at work and most people only need to cut a couple of slots, etc and this does the job well. Customers keep hiring them and giving good feedback. Wouldn’t want to cut a whole slab with one though but like all cordless devices they serve a purpose very well. 👍
Good to hear ill keep it in mind I hate using them indoors, we use kennards and they changed to huski which is VERY disappointing. The husky demo saw bogs out when you tilt it forward, it has to be at least 3/4 full to run properly. May have changed it now but the fella at kennards said i wasn't the only one who had complained.
What batteries do you guys hire out with them? Have you had any comments on other cordless stihl gear?
Bahaha ill keep you in mind, FIL has the account with em but lately they have been giving us the ****s, its a small branch though that we have been using its been close to the jobs so cant knock them too much.
I have an old 6kva genny here that I wanna fix up, apart from the engine the dynamo could do with some refreshing, has old ceramic fuses but all still works pretty good. Might have to pick your brain on it one day [emoji848]
No problemo - just use a US freight forwarder like Shipito. The agents give you an address in the US, so no delivery restrictions and then they on-forward the item for a fee. Auspost actually offers this service too.

Had a funny one with that issue a couple of years ago. I ordered a dynamo bike light from Germany: this one has a "stand light" powered by a lithium battery (so that when you've stopped pedalling your lights don't go out). They delivered it to me by airmail, took a couple of days. The light turned out to be badly faulty, they agreed to take it back. Then I got told that I couldn't airmail it back because of the lithium battery - but no-one was willing to explain why shipping it to me by airmail wasn't dangerous, but shipping it back was. Maybe because it's uphill to Germany?
