    G-Wagon knock-off

    Stumbled across this. Have mixed feelings. Could be good value for money (?) Interested in peoples thoughts:

    I would need a LWB version but I think I'll stick to the currently available LR variants from the 80s/90s which have the 4BD1. These do not have any sophistication (like me) and there are enough of them around to see me out

    Looks pretty good......

    Oh I think old mate is copying Andrew St Pierre style......which got under my skin in the first 20 seconds.

    Agree, it won’t make it to Aus......

    I’m surprise Mercedes sell them the engine given it does look like a g wagon knock off.

    It's independent wishbone with coil over dampers and anti roll bar looking at the drawings.

    Live rear axle, four links plus panhard and anti roll bar

    The front wishbones look a little exposed in a couple of photos, and the lower rear trailing arms could be a catch point where their pivot point is on the chassis.
