Same applies here. The major supermarkets and other large users of transport services have covered their arses well, accepting no responsibility for CoR and the regulators are not game to take them on in court.

Pretty much applies equally in this country too.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Funny Aldi pay truck drivers well as does Coles but very well via Toll People 
Anywhere else is crap in Aus
