1. Life is short. Make it fun.
  2. You can't change your circumstances, but you can change your attitude and how you react to those circumstances.
  3. Exercise. Move it or lose it. Sadly, I can't change the fact that I am getting older, but I can change being old and decrepit. It's also really good for your mental health.
  4. Spend time with people who make you happy.
  5. Hug your kids.
  6. Love. Love who you are with and what you do.
  7. Don't take yourself seriously. Take daggy photos. One day that's all your kids are going to have. I would prefer my kids to remember me being a dag than a series of formal poses where I'm trying to look my best.
  8. The most important things in life aren't things. People are precious.
