Hail damage Auctions - no Land Rovers

After the recent hail storms in Sydney there are now hundreds of vehicles coming up for hail Auction this weekend. I pass row upon row of them on my way into work all with their plates removed some with obvious damage such as windows smashed but cant see any hail dents from 50 meters away. There are transporters delivering more vehicles everyday.

I was hoping there may be some Defenders in the list but I can only see one Ranger Rover (and one Jaguar) but no Disco's or Defenders? This cant be because they are made of thicker panels like the old days can it? There were a few damaged in the last hail storms I recall.

Hail Affected Vehicles | Manheim Australia

Its not clear if they will all be auctioned on the one weekend or at the one location, but with no Defenders i am not interested anymore.
    Cheers

My 110 was damaged, but sorry, I am keeping it!

Oddly the bonnet fared worse than the roof; maybe the thinner aluminium flexed slightly compared to the thicker steel, better absorbing the impact

Assessor reckoned they can paintless repair everything, even dents on the panel curves.

These are in NSW. Are they write offs in accordance with NSW govt. policy that all write offs are statutory write offs not repairable write offs? Or are they being sold as damaged repairable vehicles?

I went to an auction some time go where there were a lot of hail damaged cars...I think people get carried away as they didn’t look to be going for a whole lot cheaper if at all.
