Just returned from washing the Subaru. Reckon ten kgs of mud fell of it. So much that I blocked the drain at the car wash. Oops.

Didn't even get to the waxy polish stuff, the outside of the car was lucky to get soap.

I still came out covered in mud. There were people in the other bays in suits.

If the car isn't dirty, why bother washing it?

Reckon next time I take the Defender in I'm going to block the drains so bad I'll be able to take a swim and clean myself up at the same time.

When I was detailing in the late '80's we got $25 a car :roll:
We never quite went to those extremes though, although having Jaguar, Rover dealer and Mercedes dealer as clients I got some really really nice vehicles

Do you reckon the detailer would scream in horror or rub his hands together in glee if he saw you take your just detailed Landy through the mud holes of your favourite track? 8O
