Nice car, but sorry it isn’t worth $170k. For that coin I would be buying an R35 GTR... H.S.V. releases ZL1 Camaro.

anyway is the aussie version any different mech wise?
Pics?.....Of course I should, but I'm USELESS on the computer, so have to ask Wifey to do tht stuff for me, and she gives me SUCH a hard time!
No, the mechanicals are identical to the U.S. model. The only thing that HSV do is change the steering from L.H. to R.H. But to do that is no simple task because of all the electronics involved. The whole engine & transmission together with all the panels are removed from the front of the car, as are the rear panels & boot etc,..it's really a strip down & re-build, maybe you could google a u tube, there's plenty up there on the web. G.M. USA set the rules for the conversion, I think that the comments re the engineering by HSV have been very positive. Of course whether one likes a Camaro, or not, is up to the individual, but this car will certainly perform & will have plenty of good old fashioned U.S.grunt

    Pickles.
Fair call, the Mustang Supercars revised proportions to suit the hoop looks ****.

There are some comparison pics in this review on the carsales website and a 5 minute video embedded at the top of the page. Note that it is from a couple of months ago so doesn't show the higher powered ZL1 version.

I know, but the yanks do it different, E-Copo did the 1/4 mile in 9.8 second at 134MPH = 215kmh 0-100kmh in that would be around 2 seconds.
