When you shout no one will answer. Don't use capitals.

I see you've owned lots of old junk as well

Picked up the "new green bomb" late today, so haven't had much time to play. Going ACT until late Friday, may get a chance Sunday after help Clive with yard clean of old Range Rover & Land Rover parts.

With an attidude like that, I just burn't pics of battery placement & good idea just flew out the window, have a nice day.

Be carefull will post embarrassing pics of you

That tray you speak of is where the SLS compressor is mounted on Discos with ACE & SLS it won't take the weight of a battery and also if you do mount one there what happens when you do any river crossings, or one bump from a rock or tree branchs and who knows what will happen.

Do what most do and mount it in the rear side storage area or passenger side rear under the bonnet.

    I made my own tray.

Total cost the price of the battery $60

    Hey redfender,

What do you mean by "chassis mounted" :?

What are you trying to achieve here.

I have a mate who has mounted his second battery in the rear of his D2.

in the engine bay is not the best place for the 2nd batt mine batt hasn't lasted even 12months the heat from the turbo kills it...

have u thought of putting the batt in one of the storage tubs in the rear cabin??
