Both styles look ok to me so which ever would be the easiest to migrate to and function similar to what we have now.
I don't think we need blog compatibility, blog users can use another platform.

Neowin and MLP appear same with the “Banner” “Heading” section collapsible
    Like this

But I don’t like how the MLP has the featured section when you first open.

I looked at these on my iPhone as well so not sure if they’d be different on a PC? Will have a look later this evening.

But again whatever works for you INC, we’ll get use to it! Change is goodThe Future

the cheapest option for me at the moment is IPS (still many hundreds of $'s it has to be said) as i already own a license and i can renew my subscription and get the latest version with all the goodies i bought way back when...

so unless something extraordinary happens, that is where i will head....

will see what i find when i try to import the current setup...

i would still like feedback on likes and dislikes of IPS etc etc

Sorry Inc, I'm not much help on the tech side, IPS is a logistics company to me.
Do we need a fundraiser to bring the joint up to speed?

you cannot join or do anything there it is a test / eval site i will be using it to see how well the data and userbase from here imports... but you get a peek into the future as it comes along

the new place will have the Garage software so everyone can show off their pride and joys / projects etc

I can't offer any helpful information except to say that I understand how this can impact as our organisation is moving from Moodle to Canvas, so seeing it happen currently. Our move is a 12 month process. So far it seems to be better. Hope same will be true with IPS.

Based on having a look around Neowin.net it looks good. A more modern and fresher look. 👍
