I feel a connection to Bradbury, because my Mother and her 6 siblings were born in a workers cottage not far from where Bradbury was born, in Deagon. They went to Sacred Heart School, Sandgate. Here they were given breakfast, often, as the great Depression had cut in.To come from that, to one of Australia's respected Engineers, well, that's special. EDIT he was born in 1867, Can't imagine Deagon back then. No wonder they call it Sandgate, as it probably was , before Deagon.
