    Fond memories

This is a photo from 1999. It's a camping trip we made with our two young daughters and three borrowed cousins. We used to do this on a regular basis. We still have the 1992 tdi. It's not the main car any more, that's a Puma now.
Fair enough it's not the Simpson desert, the Nullabar or the Northern Territories but we enjoyed ourselves and the photo brings back fond memories. Likewise the tdi, there are too many memories tied up in it to part with it.

Quite true, it's not even the Northern Territory, it's a different type of beauty.
    Is it the Giant's causeway?

No. It is somewhere on the North West coast facing the Atlantic. I have often thought of revisiting some of these places but it is hard to pin point them! Besides the cousins have all grown up, some with families of their own. My eldest daughter is away at college. The only one here with us is our younger daughter,Sarah, who is 23. Sarah will always be with us as she is a "Child of God" as someone once put it.
Funnily enough some years ago my eldest daughter went on a camping trip with some friends. I dropped them and their gear off. My daughter was the only one among them who knew how to put up a tent!
    Once again great times

    Fond memories

    Holidays can be pretty special

My 85yr old mother was only saying the other day,the best holiday memories she has were the Fraser island trips we did in the late '60's,and early '70's.

Some of those trips were for the full Christmas holidays.

Should dig out some of the pics i suppose.
