Don't all thank me at once.....

Well today I decided to do my bit to atone for mankinds misgivings (well some of them anyway) so I went for a drive in the 2.25 n/a LR88....in the wind and rain. Oh, there was a hail stone shower as well.
Someone is probably going to burst my bubble and say "That's a typical summers day drive over there, so "So What?" "
Yeah, well anyway you are welcome.

You are not trying to make up for Donald Trump by any chance?

Under those conditions a Limited Slip Diff would have been useful. Did you encounter any ice?

No ice but the use of "LSD" to mitigate the conditions sounds intriguing!

Not today, but two days ago, we drove our 1963 Series 2A shorty 550 kays to Corowa for the annual Swim In. It was a very enjoyable journey in the old girl and the weather was kind to us, unlike most years when the run accross the Riverina Plains is usually scorching hot. At present Corowa is abuzz with ex-military vehicles of all shapes and sizes, and there are more and more rolling into town all the time.

    Cheers, Mick.

Taking our 110 for a drive tonight, probably in the predicted storm following today's 87% humidity and 31 degree temperature. Does that count?

    Thanks.

I'd reciprocate with a similar comment, but as you're in Ireland, my input into a slightly better society seems to have applied at a more local (geographical) location, and you may have not benefited in any way.
Usually, Feb temps here in south east Aus, are in the 30+ range.
But! .. as I recently modded my D1(and test drive it too), to try to maintain a cooler head(literally) whilst using air con on a hot day, I think we've barely had any days over 35°C since(the mod).
Mad was done late Jan or thereabouts.
So my small contribution to (local) society was to single handedly help minimise the global warming situation!

See, you correct an issue caused by specific conditions, and once the correction is applied, the conditions will rarely(if ever) surface again!
