    UHF Radio in Disco 2

    I am upgrading my incar audio and the dashpod I currently have has to go as it will interfere with the screen on the new head.

    I am looking for options where to put my GME3200 other than in the drivers footwell.

    Was thinking of a roof mounted shelf or console.

    Does anyone have ideas where I could source something like that from?

    how about here




    mine is the Uniden 013 split system but u could do the same with yrs... the main unit lives under the dash with some double sided tape holding it in place

    Mine is not the split system.

    I remember seeing your installation and if I can't find a suitable roof storage solution I may have to go the split radio option.

    The cost may well be about the same for either option.

    On looking at your picture what is that on your windscreen behind the mirror?

    srry i thought yr was the split GME...

    it's a E tag... its for traveling on tolled freeways in vic..... and some nsw... it's an auto toll paying device
