    Easter Break

    This year Easter starts on the 19th of April, Anzac day falls on the 25th which is a Thursday, so I can see people taking the Tuesday and Wednesday off work after Easter and the Friday to give themselves a 10 day break.

    You are right on the money there.

    My wife has told her crew they can apply and have the time off , she will work and revel in the solitude it gives her.

    It must hurt businesses though except perhaps fast food and theme parks.

    10 days off is fantastic But it will add another 3 days to the annual Easter carnage on our roads, Not to mention an extra three days of Numpties getting bogged on our local beaches.

    Easter is the last weekend of the Qld school holidays, so I predict a lot of students will skip the week including the holidays on Easter Monday and Anzac day on the Thursday.

    Ahh. 4 day weekend, work 2 days, take Friday after Anzac day off (possible hangover from Collingwood beating Essendon) for another 4 days off. Because of the amount of people taking the 10 days straight, I might even wear shorts (shoes optional) on the Tuesday and Wednesday. We looked at taking the full 10 but school holidays and every other man & dog with same ideas ensured every thing is booked out or super pricey.

    You don't get days off running a road house, I have a couple of inlaws that own one halfway between Perth and Geraldton and they work from 5am-8pm 7 days a week every week poor buggers.
    Easter is one of their busiest times.
