    Running, walking, riding or swiming

The gent below is more than a little admirable in my book

294.835kg to at a guess below 80kg. He is like a mate of mine. Close to killing himself to being and feeling younger than I am

Running for Weight Loss - Carlos Orosco Weight Loss and Running Transformation

I honestly know so many BIG guys and girls who have lost it in a realy good way

For those who think it just hurts I think this occurs to every single person as they start or before they start running.
"The joint issues and chronic pain that had been an everyday part of life disappeared—he was able to stop taking six daily medications for all of his previous medical issues—and he decided to amp up the exercise. Just after surgery, he walked a 5K in honor of a friend who’d died from a heart attack." Do you wonder how he will go in the Detroit Marathon? I bet he finishs. Wish I could run with him.

Worth reading and considering perhaps. I love long distance running, I ride a bit, walk a lot and do not mind swiming at all. Not because I am obese, but becuase several members of my family are very to very very big and I do not wish to be. We all get a choice.

    Bloody Amazing ,

I never really eat junk food but I made a conscious decision to lower blood pressure and stopped drinking 12 months ago and haven't missed it one bit , infact I thought I'd have a beer the other day after digging a trench ,. It tasted like **** and its put me off for good. (the fact it was past its use by date probably didn't help).

Only lost 10kg though , at least Im under 100 now. so heaven forbid for the first time in my life I've started to excersie and taken up Kayaking, walking the Dog (and trench digging), might take me 12 months to get to 85kg though.

Any one who can pass CDAT, is entitled to run.

This might be of help. I go faster than some and slower than others. Your pace is the right one

    108kg to 77kg

Walter Handloser trying 50 100 mile runs 2019!

"Handloser, who stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall, went from about 240 pounds to about 170 pounds." 108kg to 77kg

Tried putting before and current photos but they were too BIG. Putting Walter up to remind myself my 3rd long run registration for 2019 is not totally insane. Do it your way. Walk, run, swim, ride or paddle.

I feel, for those whom are not aware, I must explain CDAT. The clearance diver acceptance test, is more geared towards rejection than acceptance. It is the door bitch you must get past to enter the clearance diver world. CDAT is a chain of various high - intensity activities and challenges relieved by brief irregular and altogether insufficient spells of rest. Other than the legendary cadre course- the SAS's formidable door bitch-CDAT is the most exacting selection trial in the Australian Armed services.

You've heard of the US Navy Seals? guess whom they were modelled on. There a number of CD teams. Team 3 is usually raised for war time , team 4 is the secret team. We saw some of team 4 on Bass strait oil rig patrols, back in the day, carrying out anti terrorist training on the oil rigs. These days the CD's are in Afghanistan, working with the Army on the IED problem. But you wont hear about that ,as well as the many other jobs they do.

While not in the 200 kg league. I lost 34 kg riding a bike in the last couple of years.
Now I am addicted to bike riding rather than food
