bowdens nanolicous is hard to go past
but expensive
Some of us do it (very) occasionally, others a bit more often. I'm in the former group, however I decided to do mine today, mainly to show up Killer and Scallops tomorrow.
What products have the goody two shoes, from the latter category found to work well?
I purchaced a bottle of Maguire's Ultimate Wash and Wax, the results were somewhat disappointing, however I didn't follow the instructions, rather I applied the product through a venturi applicator, attached to my K3 Karcher. I think my method might be over diluting.

I use autoglym on the Jag - But for a decent job, no matter what you use, you’ll need to use some elbow grease. If the paint has a lot of contamination then clay bar, polish and finish - you got a spare 10 to 12 hours you can make it shine.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

That's how I've been doing mine Pedro, but they only do a half arsed job and broke the back mudflap last time. Didn't bother mentioning it either.

Our bore water is crap for washing cars as it leaves white spots all over them due to its calcium content so i have to use the car wash in town which does a pretty good job.
I dont use the drive through wash i use the one where you shove your $1/$2 in the wall and do it yourself.
No matter how sparkalarkally I get the D2a it is always covered in dust when I get home because of the dirt roads I have to use to get there![]()

Since the paint peeled off my 110 a few years ago I wash/wax our daily drivers pretty regularly to protect the paint, especially with our harsh sun. At least one of our cars will be at the train station all day getting baked.
I’ve tried a few and for water repulsion if that’s an indicator, my preferred is 1Z (or Einszed) wash and wax.
I keep trying new brands. Which means I have a few bottles of different car wash to get through. Good brands like mothers and Bowdens, I think are all ok, but I keep coming back to 1Z.
And I still use a wax on top of a wash and wax. I will skip the wax if using 1Z.

I just use ct18 truck wash , have a foamer , lay the foam all over and under it go around a couple of times then go and have a beer while it works.
You can do it in or out of the sun , doesn't matter....it can go dry , doesn't matter.
because I enjoy the first beer I have a second one.....
some time later I fit the little pressure nozzle to the hose and walk around the car a few times and blast it off
every time I do it I sill get SA desert dust coming out of strange places
I move the car fwd and blast the concrete clean as well
the chassis still looks new after 4 yrs
sometimes I have another beer.......
