The second Cosco fuel outlet opened out this way, during the week, promising cheap fuel to those who lash out $60.00 on a membership card. There are three other fuel stations within two hundred metres, they haven't changed their prices since Cosco opened, all four are selling at the same price. So much for Cosco slashing the fuel costs in greater Ipswich.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
given melbourne prices... paying the $60 up front for the costco card...
Made it back in under 6 weeks with an average of 12c/l under the rates of other servos and usually 5c/l cheaper than the uniteds.
BUT...
costco is not always the cheapest.. yesterday one of the uniteds had fuel at $136.6 compared to Costcos 136.7.
as a plus my localish costco is a shop and servo... those chicken cheese things are to kill for......
