The local community has done well to keep the pollies on their toes. There is a larger pool planned now, they are taking another part of Parramatta Park land to do it (the old golf course). But a) that was an afterthought from the pollies, and b) we (collectively, New South Welshwo/men) have paid for the new stadium, when we already had one there. As someone who has a family member in the hospital/health system, I'd rather have seen that money be directed to the opposite side of Parramatta Park to be honest, ie to Westmead Hospital. Or Blacktown, or to the Nepean...

To end on a good note, there were a lot of people out here today, weather was perfect and a real nice vibe on the street. (Didn't get to go myself, working....) After the win today (51 to 6!) hopefully they can keep the attendance levels up. Good to see it wasn't played in the dark too. :)

It's quite surprising that with 3d modelling they couldn't have foreseen this? I can remember there was something funny like that with a couple of the old seats as well, got caught out before, by railings I think.. Will have to remember that, what was the seat number?

Pretty sure when you book tickets the seat with restricted views are highlighted. Plenty of stadiums have a few seats with restricted view.

there were 62,000 more watching proper football at their old oval yesterday.

the other 8.000 odd it could seat must have watched it on telly or were still down the RSL
