Truck rollover in Brisbane causes long traffic delays

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    lets be completely serious here.

how or why does a semi roll over?

there are really only two answers besides major mechanical failure.

    one is speed

    the other is load.

the driver is responsible for both

his license should be shredded and the company he is driving for should be fined for the total cost of the disruption.

How about "Evasive action taken to avoid knob in buzz box. Left hand front wheel hits concrete divider. Said wheel folds under cab. Whoops, there you go!"

Without knowing anything about the accident, that's the conclusion I'm jumping to.

Was thinking the same thing - probably an idiot driver cut them off but who knows.

A fine display of ignorance, there are dozens of reasons any vehicle could roll over. Stationary trucks have rolled in storms.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

We seem to have heaps of traffic delays on the roads around here without any incidents.

The congestion is actually costing everyone and businesses a heap of $$.

The sad thing is not much is getting done about it

I don't know how it happened, glad no one was badly hurt. I've driven that road many times, can be a bit of a race track, although the roadworks has slowed things down a bit. Perhaps he was in the wrong lane, and left his turn a bit late , who knows. Not me.

And your knowledge as to the events leading up to the incident is what, precisely? None?

Yep. Go and count the train tracks going into the local supermarket or petrol station.
