    distal bicep repair

Hi all just had a distal bicep repair just wondering how long it was until you were back to full health and lifting normal weights again if people are wondering what a distal bicep is its the tendon from the bicep to the elbow.

No idea, but I put and angle grinder through my bicep, they had to re join it, was about a month until I got the stitches out, a 6 weeks on and off of physio to stretch the muscle (the most painful experience ever) so all up3 months and I was back to normal.
Not sure if this is the same or notdistal bicep repair

Obviously tool abuse Vern...biceps are not on the cutting list!

Saying that, the materials it is meant to cut seem rather benign. Were you trying it on something else? The closest I've tried to this style of blade are those diamond edged meant for steel, saving change outs on carbide when the diameter shrinks.

Always interested in knowing how people get themselves in strife so I can avoid it myself.

That's some shivers up the spine!

Probably getting off topic here but would it be too gory to have a 'mishaps' thread? I know a builder who once nail gunned himself to a truss. Another guy lost the tip of a finger when he decided to lift a running lawnmower to find out why it was running rough. You'd be interested in my mishap with a lathe within 30 minutes of ownership and no experience...
