    Why murder bees ? unbelievable.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

There must Bee more to this story

Maybe they were mis-Bee-having and upset someone.. Sorry Bob couldn't help it..

In all seriousness that's not very good at all , the mind boggles at why someone would set them on fire.

Hopefully they find the culprits - maybe tying them to a few bee hives might be a just punishment.

    Cheers Ean

Awww, behive Ean. I keep bees, and bees don't forget. If they don't like the way you treat them, they let you know. For example, I often go and just look closely at what they are doing. How much pollens going in, just check on their health, usual administration stuff. 90% of the time, it's ok. Sometimes, not often, one or two will head butt me, I get the message and walk away. So we remain friends. If you upset them, once one stings, the pheromones produced will bring on her mates, protecting the hive. That's why I think whoever did that to those bees, must have been in a bee suit, and been a keeper themselves. As for burning the hives, that is what must happen if the disease American Foul Brood is present in your hive. By law here in Aus.

    Hi,
I was talking to a bee keeper attending his hives in a clearing off a track in SW Tas.
I was curious as to why expensive steel and cable was across the only way in to the clearing and I had used this spot for camping in years past.
He had locked it to keep vehicles out because some drivers though it fun to knock the hives over.
The mind just boggles at this stupidity!
    Cheers
