At 16 years old I was playing with the Doppler effect with sonar. The ability to use radar to measer the same effect to help with weather is honestly.

I'd look at them a lot more if there was coverage here. I am on the fringe of the Namoi radar coverage, way beyond the Doppler range, and there is no coverage for thousandsa of kilometres in the direction the weather usually comes from (west). It is a pity the NSW government is not as concerned about rada coverage as is the WA government.

My federal member tells me that there is going to be be more coverage, but I wonder whether it will be in my lifetime.
