A map of all the sausage sizzles on election day

I may have only been voting for 20+ years, but I have never seen a sausage sizzle at any polling booth here in Western Sydney, local, state or federal level. Or is this an interstate thing? The first time I heard about it was through the ex, she was from Vic. The way the TV personalities bang on about it now you would think they were everywhere but I have never seen one.

Is it a new thing? I am honestly confused.

I think it is relatively new, and also probably a lot more popular in some areas as well. I have never seen it at any of the places I've voted, but almost all these have been very small polling places.

According to the map, when I looked at it a bit before the election, there were only about four in my electorate, which is just under half of NSW, with dozens of polling places.
