    Just heard a news flash saying Mr Hawke has passed away.

    Liked a beer or 3 in his day. R.I.P Mr Hawke

    After Gough Whitlam's passing I regarded Robert James Lee Hawke as the greatest living Australian. Now I will have to appoint another to the position. It won't be one of the current crop of Pollies.

    Bob Hawke was a Bloody Legend and he did what he did because he knew it was the right thing to do, The currant crop only do what they do to gain power and don't give a rats arse about the average Australian.
    RIP Bob and what you did for Australia will not be forgotten, Hopefully.
