Trivia and other useless but interesting items

1000s of satellites to see now makes one much easier to find. During 1980s,1990s Look Out or Lifebuoy duties on warships overnight, I was lucky to find one or two per week. Every early morning run or night I see them now. Just found a site showing the three main groups of them.

Hint. Use the TABs at the top to move to GPS and the other two lost. There are 1000s+

To replace the battery in an XPS 13 9360 laptop, follow these steps:

I often wonder about the wisdom of publishing online the grid references for these things. A falsey maybe? If memory serves, there was a member here (??) that assisted in the design & installation of Jindalee uup norf.

Well he ran a Series LR & I guess it wasn't designed on that. Correction 1706. It was a Member of the LR Club of SA.

Have an XPS 15 and some of the keys have split in half and so need replacing. On investigation found you need to replace the whole key board not just the plastic key. To do this requires removing everything inside the laptop. Looked up what had to be done and price of the key board. Then looked up the price of a plug in key board. A bit of a pain to carry the plug in key board but pice of parts and value I put on my time made it an easy decision

On the 22nd of May this year, the fifth anniversary of "Trivia and Other Useless, but Interesting Items" occurred. :arms:
