The acting leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir Ed Davey, has written to Kent Police asking them to investigate whether Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has broken coronavirus quarantine rules.
Mr Farage tweeted a picture of himself at lunchtime on Saturday having a pint in a pub, as many businesses in England reopened.
Exactly a fortnight ago, Mr Farage tweeted from a trip to the United States - where he was a guest at a rally for President Trump.
People travelling to the UK from the US are required to quarantine for a period of 14 days from the moment they arrive.

T'was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek there Brian. But you knew that didn't you Darls?
Archerfield happens to be a name familiar to me for many years, it being the Airfield where both my Aunt & Uncle learnt to fly, she as a hobby & him as a budding Airline pilot for Ansett-ANA who he served with for many years going back to pre-war days..
Contrary to popular belief it wasn't his fault that he collected the top Barbed Wire strand on takeoff from Adelaide's Parafield Aerodrome in his undercarriage which was found after he arrived at Melbourne. The fencing Contractor apparently hung it a couple of inches a bit high. Well that may have been the reason.
Even as a Speedway, being under 10' of drink would have tried Competitors patience to the limit but I guess they managed somehow.Certainly would have kept the Cinders down.
I don’t know how yours get mould on them BB, (I won’t ask any questions) mine used to gather dust
I haven’t had cash for a while now
These days it’s a cashless society, no body pays cash these days, they all want to pay by credit card
Thanks for the history lesson, that’s another piece of useless information to fill the void in my head created by years of good times![]()

Cash is still King on a lot of the transactions and purchasing I do - still can save a bundle, particularly on services if you pay cash.
Mind you I'm the sort of person that will haggle with pretty much everything when possible, when you break your wallet open and it has the cold hard stuff, it works wonders.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
Most of my associates use cash and most of the small businesses I deal with prefer cash. A pile of credit cards in a drum under the workshop floor is no use. If a tradesman tells you he can't start a job for weeks/months because he is so busy, tell him you will give him folding the day he finishes/ brings it back. He will commonly say "I'll pick it up tomorrow".

I used Cash today. Most smaller operators don't have a bank CC machine so it is still handy.
