The landing wasn't broadcast,...... you're thinking of Armstrong stepping off the leg of the landing module to go for a walk.

Saw the same thing on the B&W at primary school, live.

    cheers, DL

They always were a little over cautious once Don Dunstan left politics. Holding back the tide was his gig:

I thought wearing pastel coloured shorts was the basis of his downfall.

Trains - planes or runners? walking might do it faster- Traffic

Drove into and out of Melbourne this afternoon. One passenger on the way in and two on the way out. Not parked for more than 5 minutes honestly. 4pm till 7.40 pm! 12km each way! Trivia is I could have run it twice 3 years ago, train about 10 times in and out perhaps?

Why anyone solo drives into traffic insanity is a bit beyond me! Live were your work or work where you live Honestly sorry for any poor sod trying to do that daily. 90% plus solo drivers

Unfortunately many can not afford to live where they work & there are no jobs where they live.
Add to that that Australia, in general, sucks at public transport & a whole lot of people are driving cars on their own.

I am fortunate, my current job is 5 meters from my house (not always a good thing) & even in the new job I start in February it is about 1km.
